The aims of this investigation were to determine knowledge on doping KD and knowledge on sport nutrition KSN, and corresponding socio-demographic-, sport -, and sport-nutrition - and doping-factors among an international sample of high-level tennis players of both sexes 43 females; 22 years old on average. In the first phase of the investigation, the KSN and KD questionnaires were studied for their reliability and validity.

The athletes showed a low tendency regarding future doping usage, although most of them are convinced that doping does exist in tennis. Since athletes declared that their coaches are their main source of information about NS and doping, future studies should investigate what coaches actually know about such problems. KSN has been found to be protective against potential doping behavior in the future. Males are found to be more prone to doping than females.

A quick and efficient course that definitely covers the basics of nutrition in an efficient manner. All of the content was clear and concise, and there were a lot of great visuals i. Even if the course was set to be basic, I could still learn much and confirm things that I thought was just hear say. The weight gain assessment was also a good tool for some personal introspection. I see a lot of patients with IBS and low grade inflammation including many of the milder symptoms of things like Crohn's, Ankylosing Spondylitis or Rheumatoid arthritis. The aims of this investigation were to determine knowledge on doping KD and knowledge on sport nutrition KSN, and corresponding socio-demographic-, sport -, and sport-nutrition - and doping-factors among an international sample of high-level tennis players of both sexes 43 females; 22 years old on average.

In the first phase of the investigation, the KSN and KD questionnaires were studied for their reliability and validity. The athletes showed a low tendency regarding future doping usage, although most of them are convinced that doping does exist in tennis. Since athletes declared that their coaches are their main source of information about NS and doping, future studies should investigate what coaches actually know about such problems.

We have investigated the effect of breastfeeding and infant formulas differing in protein content on the urinary and fecal metabolism of term infants born from overweight and obese mothers using a metabonomic approach. Metabolic differences were observed between breast and formula fed infants both in urine and stool samples. Metabolic profiles of formula fed infants exhibited a distinct metabolic pattern that was associated with the processing of dietary proteins from the host and the gut microbiota.

Metabonomics appears as a powerful tool to measure the physiological response to infant formula versus the gold standard breastfeeding. In future, nutritional phenotyping will combine metabonomics and nutritional profiling to study specific nutritional requirements and measure the efficacy of tailored nutritional interventions on growth and development endpoints.
